Alexander gets baptized!

It has been about 2 years since Alexander prayed and asked Jesus to be Lord of his life.  Through these last 2 years he has watched as many have followed the Lord in baptism.  He has asked questions and we have talked about it quite a bit.  About a week prior to his baptism he met with one of our pastors to make sure he understood its significance and that he understood it.

Alexander also have told us for a long time that he wanted his Poppy and Mimi's to come.  It so happened that Jeff's parents were in town that weekend, they were able to be there along with my parents!

Romans 6:3-6

New King James Version (NKJV)
Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.
